Sous Chef

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Creating and designing menus based on seasonality, availability of ingredients, and customer preferences.
• Cooking and preparing meals according to recipes, ensuring quality, taste, and presentation.
• Overseeing kitchen staff, managing inventory, ordering supplies, and maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards.
• Monitoring food quality, taste, and presentation to ensure consistency and adherence to standards.
• Training and supervising kitchen staff on cooking techniques, food safety procedures, and kitchen operations.
• Developing new recipes, experimenting with ingredients, and staying updated on culinary trends.
• Analyzing to understand their preferences, receive feedback and complaints, and ensure satisfactions with the dining experience.
• To carry out any other assignments as and when required.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Proven experience as a Sous Chef in a culinary environment.
• Passion for maintaining high food and service standards.
• Creative flair for menu development and innovation.
• Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation standards.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Experience working in a restaurant chain will be an added advantage
