Account & Relationship Management (Sales)
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Southern Area Manager to lead our sales team in the southern region. This pivotal role will involve supervising sales personnel, expanding accounts, performing business development activities, and increasing sales of our key product portfolio. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in business-to-business (B2B) industrial sales and a proven track record of driving growth and achieving sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise Sales Personnel: Lead and manage the southern region sales team to ensure high performance and achievement of sales goals.
Account Expansion: Identify and develop new business opportunities to expand our customer base. Draft proposed action plans for non-performing, lost customers, and non-growth areas.
Business Development: Execute business development strategies to drive growth and increase market share.
Increase Key Product Sales: Focus on increasing sales of our key product portfolio by understanding customer needs and offering tailored solutions.
Reporting: Regularly report on sales activities, market trends, and performance metrics to the Sales Manager.
Customer Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty. Utilize CRM tools to manage customer relationships, track sales activities, and optimize sales performance.
Market Analysis: Analyze market conditions and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats.
Requirements:
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in B2B industrial sales, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
Education : Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Science or a related field.
Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Proven ability to meet sales targets and drive business growth. Fluent in English and Malay; ability to speak Mandarin is a positive.
Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the industrial market and sales strategies.
Travel: Willingness to travel within the southern region (Johor, Melaka and Negeri Sembilan) as required.
Location: Based in Johor or Melaka
