Specialist Continues Improvement

Objective of job

Introduce and maintain a continuous improvement process, DRX Ideas and 5S in DEM. Promoting a culture of CI in DEM

Principle activities

• Manage and assess DRX Ideas, participate in DRX Ideas network, monitor implementation status for DRX Ideas


• Plan, lead and follow up with 5S activities in the plant. Support 5S implementation, review implementation status per department, conduct 5S assessments, manage 5S findings.


• Conduct training sessions on LEAN and DRX Ideas, ensure LEAN trainings for all employees of DEM


• Support CI projects and DRX Ideas in the plant by giving technical guidance (e.g. DMAIC, A3, DRX Ideas)


• Support the management of CI activities by planning and leading the Plant Continuous Improvement Meeting


• Support in setting CI, 5S and DRX Idea targets for the plant, monitor target achievement


• Identify improvement potential in standards and inform central (e.g. LEAN assessment, DRX Ideas)


• Conduct workshops for various plant functions (e.g. Production, Logistics, etc.) to identify improvement potential (e.g. with regard to minutes, space and material, parametrization of production equipment, reduction of error rates, etc.). Compile workshop results and create corresponding reports for supervisors/management


• Cooperate in optimizing standards/processes/production equipment


• Manage Obeya Room
