This is an exciting time at Enovix! We are looking for experienced candidates to help support our new lithium-ion battery production facility in Penang, Malaysia for commercialization of our 3D Silicon Lithium-ion Rechargeable Battery. We are currently seeking a qualified, highly motivated, experienced individual for the position of Senior Manager, Cost Accounting at Enovix Corporation, reporting to the Controller.

Job Summary:

We are currently seeking a qualified, highly motivated, experienced individual for the position of Senior Finance Manager, FP&A at Enovix Corporation.

The Senior Finance Manager is responsible for developing AOP, Quarterly Rolling financial forecast and Long-range planning for Malaysia Operations. This position requires strong analytical & modelling capability, excellent communication skills, and the ability to perform at a high level in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. This position will be the business partner for Site Operations Leadership providing various analytics for decision making.

Responsibilities:

  • Weekly, monthly reporting of various key manufacturing elements such as: spend, yield, ppv, absorption, headcount, etc. Comparisons of actual vs AOP and Forecast with explanations for deviations.
  • Develop project level spending reports for R&D and show comparisons vs AOP and forecast.
  • Lead development of AOP and Quarterly rolling financial forecast for the entire site operations.
  • Coordinate with Corporate FP&A team in the development of Long-range financial plans for site operations.
  • Development of long-term cost roadmaps for existing and new products. Coordinate with procurement, process, and R&D teams to understand various parameters (UPH, yield, material cost, …) in projecting cost.
  • Develop process costing in high volume manufacturing, showing efficiencies, inefficiencies and highlighting opportunities for improvement. Clearly articulate deviations to standard cost. Develop monthly actual cost by process/zones/lines/segments.
  • Development of cost models for various segments and custom cells along with associated key drivers for ongoing cost reduction. This involves sensitivity analysis of various parameters (capacity, loading, yield, BOM) that provide impact views, enabling decision making.
  • Provide management with gross margin views of various segments (wearables, laptops, mobile…) and provide comparisons of actual vs AOP and forecast.
  • Integrate with R&D and Product Management in the development of cost for new products/processes/technology nodes to project gross margin. Develop ROI and NPV calculation for new products/businesses.
  • Responsible for month end expense recording completeness and accuracy.
  • Assist in various analysis, such as: make vs buy, new processes implementation, value-engineering projects, and other strategic initiatives.
  • Take on additional duties and ad-hoc projects as required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance or Accounting.
  • At least 8 years of relevant analytical experience, including direct experience in a cost accounting role for a manufacturing company.
  • Excellent analytical and modelling capabilities; proficient in Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to interact at several levels within an organization.
  • Proven track record of success and increased levels of responsibility.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to perform at a high level in a dynamic environment.
  • Experience with process improvement.
  • US GAAP experience is a plus.
  • Advanced Excel skills & proficiency in Word & PowerPoint; familiarity with Dynamic 365 ERP is a plus.
