Roles & Responsibilities:
1. Office & Business Units Deskside IT Support:
- Provide on-site and remote technical support to end-users in office and business unit environments.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, ensuring swift resolution and minimal disruption.
- Set up and configure workstations, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
- Collaborate with Helpdesk teams to prioritize and resolve IT service requests efficiently.
- Maintain an inventory of IT assets and track hardware and software licenses.
2. Operation Technology:
- Oversee the operation technology, manufacturing systems, and logistics system, ensuring they operate smoothly and efficiently.
- Collaborate with production teams to address IT-related issues impacting manufacturing processes.
- Collaborate with logistics teams to address IT-related issues impacting logistics and warehouse processes.
- Implement and maintain IT solutions that enhance manufacturing and warehouse efficiency and quality control.
- Ensure the security and reliability of manufacturing and logistics systems, including backups and disaster recovery plans.
3. Campus & IT Infrastructure:
- Manage the campus IT infrastructure, including SDWAN Firewall, LAN, WAN, routers, switches, and network security devices.
- Monitor and maintain server rooms, data centers, and related infrastructure, WSSD, Hyper-V and Linux
- Collaborate with vendors and service providers to ensure optimal network performance.
- Implement and maintain security protocols to protect Lam's data and systems.
4. Conference & Audio Visual:
- Maintain and support conference rooms and audio-visual equipment.
- Set up and configure audio-visual equipment for meetings, presentations, and events.
- Troubleshoot audio-visual issues and provide technical assistance during critical meetings.
- Coordinate with vendors for equipment maintenance and repairs.
5. VIP Users Support:
- Offer specialized support to VIP users, including executives and key stakeholders.
- Prioritize and respond promptly to VIP service requests, ensuring a high level of satisfaction.
- Configure and customize IT solutions to meet VIP users' specific requirements.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism while working closely with VIPs.
- This position may require occasional travel between business units or off-site locations.
- Availability for on-call support or after-hours work may be necessary to address critical IT issues or VIP user requests
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Information Technology or related field (or equivalent work experience)
- Ability to utilize problem management database and systems to track and report on customer calls and requests
- Strong logical and analytical skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to demonstrate baseline security skills
- Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve core service and support challenges while applying best practices for documentation, change management, and scripting
- Ability to find root causes of problems and quickly determine efficient solutions
- Expertise in device discovery and management solutions e.g. SCCM, InTune, Active Directory
- Experience in device security solutions
- Proficiency with relevant business systems, operating systems and Office 365 environment
- Good troubleshooting understanding of networking concepts (e.g. Systems, Protocols, Directory Services)
- Python/PowerShell Scripting Experience
- Application Development experience
- DevOps knowledge/experience
- CompTia A+
- CompTia N+
- MCSA: Windows 10
