Staff Engineer Test Development

What you will do

• Support R&D or NPI projects to qualify and release new products to production.
• Review new test requirement and assess test equipment capability. Source and qualify new equipment.
• Create new test program based on test spec. Optimize test program for better test accuracy and lower test time.
• Conduct tester MSA. Engage with equipment team to improve test contacting stability and reduce over-rejection.
• Develop and implement test firewall to improve screening effectiveness together with Product and Test Engineering.
• Perform verification and FA submission for electrical rejects, understanding of each failure mode.
• Feedback and discuss with BG on test data analysis and test yield improvement
• Work closely with Operation/Sustaining in V-R phase to ensure smooth transition to mass production.

What you will need

• BS Engineering Graduate (Mechanical or Electrical) with min 5 years of relevant experience.
• ATE Power User: Extensive experience in Automated Test Equipment (ATE), encompassing both software and hardware. You should be comfortable managing the interface between the tester and the silicon.
• Data-Driven Quality Control: Mastery of Statistical Data Analysis, including Gage R&R (MSA) and Yield Analysis. You must be able to use FMEA to mitigate risks and utilize 8D methodologies for rigorous root cause analysis and technical reporting.
• Product & Application Insight: The ability to translate complex Product Datasheets into precise test specifications, ensuring the product performs reliably within its intended end-user application.
• System Integration & Debugging: Proven skill in Hardware/Software Debugging, specifically troubleshooting the interaction between the Test Handler and the tester to maintain high OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness).
