Job Description

Main scope of duties:

• Assist the Manager Home Care Services with the operational implementation of new business projects in relation to Home Care Nursing Services. 
• Responsible for providing clinical and education resources necessary for the provision of Nursing care in accordance with established professional and evidence-based practices. 
• Responsible for promoting safety practices thereby preventing accidents to patients, staff, and visitors during home visits. 
• Responsible for the smooth running of the home care nursing activities in a cost-effective manner. 
• Responsible to maintain a high standard of quality care delivered to meet customer home care needs and expectation in a customers focus development. 
• Responsible for the handling of customer complaints in a timely and effective manner. 
• Responsible for the implementation of Action Plans and performance indicators in the assigned areas. 
• Maintain records for all visits conducted. 
• Refer patient for medical advice as required pending on condition of the patient. 
• Reports to Manager Home Care Services of any incidents that occur during the tenure of any visits. 

Qualification 

• Registered nurse recognised by the Malaysian Nursing Board, with current annual practicing certificate. 
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good knowledge of written and spoken English 
• Good interpersonal relationship skills and ability to recognise and understand the common need of all individuals. 
• At least 2 years practice in a clinical set up 
• Ability to exercise good judgement, initiative and resourcefulness on a case-to-case basis pending on the condition of the client. 
• Self-motivated and possess a driver for job improvement and satisfaction. 
• Must have valid driving license and reliable transportation, and willing to travel to patients' home to provide the visits.
