Staff Nurse - Outpatient Department - Join a Leading Company

Key Job Responsibilities:

• Renders nursing care and makes professional judgment and decisions about nursing care to OPD patients.

• Carries out specialists' order in conformance with standardized techniques and procedures.

• Charts and makes reports accurately.

• Maintains safety of patients in her care.

• Schedules and assigns duties to Office Assistants and Clinic Assistants based on available staffing to provide service for the medical staff needs and ensure adequate clinic coverage.

• Assist and provides support of all clinic activities at the clinic counters.

• Supervises and evaluates work performance of OAs and CAs. Tackle the day-to-day problems and handle emergencies as and when it arises in their respective floor clinics.

• Monitors efficiency of customer service in OPD and morale of unit staff.

• Assists in the planning of in-service education, training and orientation programs of Office Assistant and Clinic Assistant.

• Participates in the late clinic coverage on a rotational basis.

Job Requirements:

• SRN registered with the Malaysian Nursing Board.

• Must possess annual practicing license.

• Competency in Nursing.

• Good knowledge of written and spoken English.

• Good knowledge of OPD nursing.
