Storekeeper Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maintain receipts, records, and withdrawals of the stockroom
  • Receive, unload, and shelve supplies
  • Ensure stock accuracy through perform regular execution cycle count and stock take activities according to schedule and update transaction.
  • Record physical inventory and maintain the record of goods. 
  • Perform other stock-related duties, including labelling, returning, packing, and labeling supplies
  • Inspect deliveries for damage or discrepancies; report those to accounting for reimbursements and record keeping
  • Handling waste management of scrap material and coordinate the disposal of crate according to the given instruction from supervisor.
  • Ensure adequate and timely record keeping and manage all documentation to confirm proper stock levels and maintain inventory control in Warehouse Management System and ensure cleanliness of all area.
  • Coordinate with logistic team and production team on weekly outgoing delivery.
  • Responsible for pallet wrapping, packing, labelling & returning supplies. 
  • Organize and maintain inventory and storage area. Ensure cleanliness & tidiness of all areas.
  • Compliance internal SOP, OHSAS SOP and maintain 5S.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the management

 

Storekeeper Requirements and Qualifications

  • Knowledge of proper bookkeeping and inventory management
  • Familiarity with standard concepts and best practices in a stockroom or warehouse environment
  • Analytical mind with ability to make accurate mathematical computations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Competencies in data entry, analysis, and management
  • Keen attention to detail and ability to effectively manage time
  • Ability to safely and legally operate a forklift
  • Skills to operate common office equipment
  • Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years of experience in storekeeping, inventory control, or recordkeeping
