Store & Logistics Section Manager - Positive Work Culture

1. Create policies or procedures for logistics and store activities.
2. Manage and monitor Store & Logistics staffs' performance to ensure they carry out the daily activities effectively and follow the policies and procedures.
3. Periodically review and analyze all aspects of corporate logistics to determine the most cost-effective or efficient means to ensure achievement of cost, productivity, accuracy, or timeliness objectives through effective negotiations with the forwarder.
4. Strategically planning and managing logistics, store, transportation and customer services. To ensure all activities of import or export material are follow government customs regulations & rules and resolve problems concerning transportation, logistics systems, imports or exports, or customer issues.
5. Manage and support the company’s safety and security standards at all the times.
6. Manage with inventory management functions such as the receiving procedures, transfers, pricing procedures, products physical count inventories as required.
7. Maintains and maximize the storage area by organizing the floor space and comply to 5S condition and recommending improvements on the process flow of store & shipping activities.
8. To evaluate & analyse inventory variance & implement preventive counter measures based on the result of monthly stock take audited by Finance.
9. Monitor and ensure obsolete/damaged stocks are well informed to related departmental manager.
10. Be a Project Manager to lead and implement ERP system by planning, coordination of people, resources and vendor to achievements of cost, productivity, accuracy, or timeliness objectives.
11. Quality Assurance, Implement quality control measures to ensure the warehouse stock accuracy and integrity of shipments.
12. To ensure immediate resolving and reporting to the related department person in charge for any discrepancies, damages, and wrong findings during receiving or tallying goods in order to take corrective action plan.
13. Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency.
14. Supervise, coach and train Store and Logistics workforce.
15. To ensure submission of the monthly customs report on time with correct data.
16. Keep up-to-date on shipping carriers, routes and rates and any changes to them.
17. Other duties and assignments as instructed by superiors from time to time.
18. To comply to all requirements of ISO (inclusive of all standards approved by the Management) and to adhere to general safety practices, standard operating procedure, work instructions, policies and guidelines provided by the company.

Requirements:

1. At least a Bachelor's Degree or Professional Degree, any field of study or equivalent experience.
2. At least 10 year(s) of working experience in the related field and knowledge in the implementation of ERP system.
3. Strong end-to-end logistics knowledge is a MUST (multi-country import/export, COGS, INCOTERMS, customs, trade governance & compliance) with experience.
4. Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects.
5. Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant software.
6. Posses with knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.
