Quality Technician ( Application Engineering)

JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for investigating and conducting product evaluation on returned samples wires by customers.

Tasks and Accountabilities: *Works independently to investigate and evaluate complaints in compliance with company procedures using designated databases.

*Work closely with Production , Quality and support department to complete complaint analysis.

*prepare reports based on findings obtained from complaint investigations.

*responsible for pre-screening investigation to ensure that reporting is performed on time and complaints are addressed in a timely manner.

*Interfaces with internal and external customers

*Contribute applicable corrective and preventive actions to facilitate complaint closure

*Analyzed and evaluate returned product or sample product from customer and sales agents.

*Support internal customers in evaluating and investigating product failure in production stage.

*Support FIF teams, Process Engineering teams and other department in continuous improvement activities.

*Interfaces with other department to ensure Company's objectives are met.

*Maintain safe and good housekeeping.

*Adhere to company's policies and ESH regulations.

*Holds confidential all aspects of technical / non technical confidential information in which he/she has access to as assigned by the company.

*Any other duties and responsibilities assigned by the company from time to time.

JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for directing and coordinating quality inspection among Quality Inspector Final Inspection and Quality Inspector Respooling to ensure compliance with the customers requirement and specification.

Tasks and Accountabilities:

*Plan and manages Quality Inspector Final Inspection and Respooling resources and activities.

*Ensure Quality Inspector Final Inspection an respooling are trained according to the required standard.

*Handle the administrative aspects of the inspector welfare (such as annual leave, MC,TMS)

*Ensure the proper operating procedures are followed by the inspectors and to periodically check that there is no deviation.

*Ensure quality of product produced met with EM internal specifications, customers specifications and requirements at all times.

*Act as back up for inspectors in their absence or when there is lack of manpower.

*Handle orders for Respooling and prepare daily production planning schedule to ensure Respooling activity runs according to the schedule.

*Support, troubleshoot and communicate findings on issue related to machines, equipment, quality controls and systems to Technician/IT personnel.

*Any other duties and responsibilities assigned by the Company from time to time.

Mechanical & Electrical / Electronic Technician

JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for installing, repairing, troubleshooting, and maintaining electrical/mechanical systems of production machines and support.

Tasks and Accountabilities:

*Performs preventive maintenance and repair works for all production equipment and machinery.

*Attends, troubleshoots and rectifies equipment breakdown on electrical/mechanical systems.

*Ensure all PM works is carried out as per schedule and all repair activities are carried out immediately.

*Diagnoses and replaces malfunctioning electrical/electronic/mechanical machine parts.

*Provide technical support, data & information to Engineer and Production as and when required.

*Support and improve overall equipment efficiency and production productivity as to minimize equipment downtime.

*Maintain overall machine performance and reduce machine downtime.

*Repairs and maintains physical structure of establishment.

*Assists and supports Engineers team and Production team (FIF) in meeting the quality and productivity goals.

*Analyze and assist FIF team in solving production and team related problems.

*Assists engineer in the planning and installation of new machines and equipment.

*Assist technicians to troubleshoot complex machine problems whenever required.

*Assist HOD to coordinate housekeeping activities at work area and Maintenance workshop as a work culture.

*Adheres to Company’s policies, work procedures, house keeping and ESH regulations.

*Holds confidential all aspects of technical/ non-technical confidential information in which he/ she has access to as assigned by the Company.

*Weekly system checking / Preventive Maintenance and update AUTOCAD file

CNC Machine Specialist

JOB SUMMARY

Responsible in ensure the efficient operation of CNC machines and advancing innovation and technology within the organization. Responsible for overseeing the setup, programming, and operation of CNC lathes, supporting R&D initiatives, ensuring the precise machining of components to meet quality standards and production schedules.
Contribute to optimize productivity/ performance, output in CNC operations, minimizing downtime and enhancing overall manufacturing efficiency,

Tasks and Accountabilities:
1. Set up CNC machines by installing and aligning tooling, fixtures, and work pieces according to blueprints or engineering drawings.
2. Program CNC controls using G-code or CAM software to execute machining operations accurately and efficiently.
3. Operate CNC machines to produce parts within specified tolerances and quality standards.
4. Monitor machining processes and make necessary adjustments to optimize cycle times and ensure product quality.
5. Conduct regular maintenance tasks such as cleaning, lubricating, and replacing worn components to keep CNC machines in optimal working condition.
6. Troubleshoot machine malfunctions and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime and production delays.
7. Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges to verify conformance to specifications.
8. Collaborate with engineering, designers and other team members to identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction.
9. Maintain accurate records of machine settings, tooling changes, production outputs, and maintenance activities.
10. Works under minimum supervision and normally receives no instructions on routine routine work and general instructions given for new assignments.
11. Work closely with engineers, designers and production teams, the CNC Specialist troubleshoots issues, implements process improvements, and ensures compliance with safety and quality standards.
12. Communicates timely on any work or quality problems to immediate superiors for corrective actions.
13. Maintain good records in discipline, time keeping and attendance.
14. Maintain safe and good housekeeping.
15. Adheres to Company’s policies and ESH (Environment, Safety and Health) regulations.
16. Holds confidential all aspects of technical/ non-technical confidential information in which he/ she has access to as assigned by the Company.
17. Any other duties and responsibilities assigned by the Company from time to time

*Willing to work on call or weekends (if required)

*Must be fluent in both spoken and written English and Bahasa

Malaysia.

*Recognized college/university certificate/diploma/higher diploma in

Mechanical Engineering/ Electrical/ Electronic or field that related to the above positions.
