Supervisor - Quality Assurance (Preshipment) - Urgent Position

• Plan and coordinate the pre shipment Inspection as per Work Instruction. 
• Ensure that Pre shipment Inspection is done correctly i.e. sample are taken correctly. 
• Verified / perform the watertight Test, Visual Test, Dimension Test, Quantity per Packing and Weight Test. 
• Prepare test pieces for Physical Properties Test with the assistance of QA Technician. 
• Enter pre shipment inspection test data into the computer and prepare final report for QA Manager viewing and approval. 
• Coordinate with QA GL/Inspector to distribute a copy of the pre shipment report to shipping department and/or customer. 
• Receiving of incoming packaging materials (inners and outers) according to the Checklist of Packaging Material. 
• Ensure that subordinates understand, accept and follow the company policies, rules and regulations (include disciplinary and Safety & Health). 
• Provide training and guidance to subordinate and manpower arrangement. 
• Plan, coordinate and handle external inspection. 
• Plan, coordinate and monitor preshipment activities including online sampling. 
• Review preshipment inspection report (data entry). 
• Co-operate with shipping for shipment need to release. 
• Ensure correctness of final report (preshipment inspection). 
• Check hot box before release to loading. 
• Update QA inspection status (shipment pending/pass inspection). 
• Ensure preshipment inspection done correctly. Example: Sample taken, visual test, dimension test, etc. 
• Verified watertight test, visual test, dimension test, quantity per packing and weight test. 
• Co-operate with production and packing team for issue related (glove issue). 
• Send email to related department for issue highlight/shipment failure. 
• Make sure hot box sample in good condition before give to external inspector (Medline) 
• Arrange for customer sample (5 inners) preparation - Paul Hartman. 
• Attend all incoming packaging activity. 
• Ensure incoming packaging material conduct as per WI. 
• Attend complaint from packing related packaging issue. 

Prepare sample new brand/revise artwork to NGC. 

• Attend to find out preshipment sample with packing due to urgent PO. 
• Issue CMMS or MRF (if have any problem) 
• Ensure all PSI inspector follow WI, hygiene control and 5S. 
• Monitor Group Leader and Inspector attendance of the current shift. 
• Check on inspector hygiene before start doing inspection. 
• Plan and coordinate the pre shipment Inspection for current shift and next shift. 
• Handling external inspection preparation (Prepare and verified external sample carton, hotbox sample, sample counting and required documentation). 
• Ensure that pre-shipment inspection is done correctly i.e. sample are taken correctly, follow product spec. 
• Coordinate for replacement inner activity including requesting empty packaging from production and monitoring of replacement of external sample activity to be done on the same day.  
• Verified glove defect find by inspector (i.e: Tensile below 6N, low weigh, low thickness etc.) 
• Handling internal/external rejection (i.e: conduct small lot activity, traceability etc.) 
• Handling after rework process (i.e follow up rework progress and rework report, re-inspection arrangement etc.) 
• Verified pre-shipment report and hotbox result before release for loading. 
• Verified / perform the watertight Test, Visual Test, Dimension Test, Quantity per Packing and Weight Test. 
• Verify watertight machine (volume of water, functionality) 
• Verify physical properties testing conduct by inspector (handling, method etc). 
• Verify and ensure temperature and humidity in tensile room are within specification. 
• Conduct arrangement for physical properties testing (PO, Validation, MSR, Line Verification etc). 
• Releasing physical reserved and packaging material in D365 system. 
• Verified new artwork and revised artwork for packaging material. 
• Verify and ensure pre shipment report is sent to shipping or sale team within timeframe. 
• Ensure Incoming Packaging Material inspection is conducted as per Work Instruction. 
• Email rejection and highlighted issue of packaging material to related parties. 
• Compile data for Devise History Record (DHR). 
• Monitoring supply chain file and update internal and external inspection monitoring file. 
• Follow up on container loading planning. 
• Issue MRF if found any abnormality at pre-shipment that required engineering work. 
• Prepare and update End Shift Report. 
• Monitor and ensure the competency of inspector. 
• Monitor and ensure the watertight batch card creation is correct. 
• Monitor and evaluate the AGR&R and GR&R which provided to inspector. 
• Any other tasks assigned by the superior. 

The Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma in Chemical Engineering / Science & Technology / BioTechnology or equivalent.
• At least 1 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Applicants must be willing to work in Sepang.
• Preferably Non-Executives specializing in Manufacturing/Production Operations or equivalent
• Candidate must be willing to work on shift (7AM-7PM/7PM-7AM)
