Supplier Quality Engineer

Responsibililty:

• Develop supplier quality manuals, procedures, work instructions, and forms for the products to ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Support internal and external audits to evaluate quality system, products and processes (ISO9001 / AS9100 / NADCAP).
• Team for external audit related to product such as customer audit and NADCAP audit.
• Drive supplier Improvement plans and ensure supplier compliance to PO flow down and Supplier Quality requirements.
• Conduct supplier on-site and desktop audits per AS9100/ ISO 9001 requirements.
• Co-lead containment activities with supplier on escapes.
• Review and Approve Supplier First Article Inspection (FAI) and maintaining the Approved Supplier List (AVL)
• Update and Maintain Supplier Quality KPI’s on monthly basis.
• Assist with special projects and participate on improvement teams as requested.
• Lead on Product Quality Improvement activities – RCCA.

Expected System Knowledge / Experience required

• Degree / Diploma in Mechanical / Aeronautical Engineering.
• Certified Lead Auditor (CLA) for ISO 9001 would be an advantage
• Relevant experience in Aerospace QA environment, automotive or metal fabrication.
• Knowledge in the APQP,PPAP, MSA, GR&R, SPC.
• Knowledge of Quality Management Systems in design, development and manufacturing operations as per ISO 9001 / AS9100 requirement.
• Knowledge in GD&T as per ASME Y14.5, ASTM, SPC, MSA and any QC Tools.
• Knowledge in procedural creation.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, customers, employees, and vendors.
• Experience in CMM and CNC.
• Ability to interact effectively with other functional departments to resolve issues relating to products and processes conformance and compliance.
• Experience in Technical documentation, drawing, testing methodologies, and QMS.
• Proficient with data collection, transformation and visualization.
• Experience in any Aerospace Standard such as AS9100, AS9110, AS9102.
• Experience in in APQP,PPAP, MSA, GR&R, SPC.
• Hands on in GD&T as per ASME Y14.5.
• Knowledge and experience in Material Requirement as per ASTM.
• Experience in product development using FMEA
• Experience and competent in using problem-solving tools including fishbone diagrams and 5-whys methodology. Experience in 8D method would be an advantage.
• Auditor (Lead or Team Member) for internal or external system audit.
• Willing to work at Sendayan, Negeri Sembilan.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
