## The impact you\u2019ll make\n\nAt Lam, as a Supply Chain Business Manager, you play a crucial role in partnering with suppliers to drive operational excellence. Your data-driven approach ensures effective planning, scheduling, and monitoring material movement through our dynamic global production cycle. You\u2019ll benchmark and monitor supplier performance to manage risk. By driving continuous supplier process improvements you support the productivity and efficiency of Lam\u0027s operations.\n\n## Job Responsibilities\n\nPosition Summary\n\nDefines metrics and monitor supplier performance against these expectations to ensure continuous supplier improvement. Regularly evaluate quality and performance benchmarks, and the risks associated with the preferred supply base selection. \n\nPRIMARY FUNCTIONS \u0026 PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES\n\n\u2022 Continuously working on process improvement to deploy \u0026 develop best known methods related to procurement, inventory control (e.g., Consignment) \u0026 manufacturing strategies \n\u2022 Encourages and coordinates early supplier involvement in highly technical and/or contractually complex new products parts design using the suppliers\u2019 expertise to optimize quality and manufacturability. \n\u2022 Established goals with supplier to ensure material delivery meet forecasted demand. \n\u2022 Represents supplier business management on a cross-functional commodity teams that focuses on supply challenges, and to ensure internal/external customer needs are satisfied. \n\u2022 Works with engineering and the supplier to resolve complex problem to ensure on time delivery of critical material to support customer and company requirements. \n\u2022 Develops presentation, white papers, process flow charts to support continuous process improvement projects.\n\n## Minimum Qualification\n\n\u2022 Bachelor\u2019s degree in engineering, business administration, or related field \n\u2022 More than 8 years of Supply Chain Management experience on direct \u0026 indirect materials and services \n\u2022 Strong Knowledge on Purchasing agreement or contract \n\u2022 Enough experience on development, management and improvement of supplier performance metrics such as OTD, Consignment and Leadtime \n\u2022 Familiar with semiconductor or high-technology supply management practices, standards and organization \n\u2022 Solid analytical and written/oral communication skills with ability to communicate cross-functionally and with various levels of the organization including Executives \n\u2022 Skills \n-. MS Office intermediate \n-. ERP familiarity, SAP expertise strongly preferred \n-. Good command of English \n-.
