Supply Chain Executive - Hiring Now

Responsibilities:                              

• Responsible for all purchasing activities including sourcing, negotiation, preparing purchase order, order acknowledgement/follow up/up-date the arrival status to sales personnel or consignee for shipment directly to customers.
• Handling and familiarity with shipping documents for import/export and customs requirements. 
• Handle shipments and/or insurance claims for containers damaged and/or good damaged as and when it occurred.  
• Check and record inventory balance for each product in each storage warehouse. 
• Keep track customer outstanding orders.
• Efficiently and independently respond to emails.
• Record and maintain up to date inventory for each product.
• Co-ordinate closely with forwarding agent, including but not limited to handling documents for import shipments to prevent storage, detention & demurrage charges.
• Any other responsibilities and duties when assigned by superior.

Authority:

• To negotiate with suppliers.
• To issue purchase orders.
• To manage warehouse and stock levels.

Academic Qualification:

• Minimum diploma/bachelor’s degree in supply chain, or equivalent working experience in logistics/supply chain.

Experience / Skill Required:

• Minimum two (2) years of working experience in related field.
• Able to converse in English, Mandarin, and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Computer literate and proficient in using Microsoft Office.
• Must be self-motivated, responsible with good interpersonal skill and willing to take on a challenge.
