Penerangan Pekerjaan - Supply Chain Manager




Main objectives



Overall in charge of 3 main functions – Procurement, logistics and warehouse management –integrating them to form the supply chain operation. Supporting both factory and sales operations to ensure timely availability of materials and products at a cost-efficient level. Maintains and enhances the supply chain operations by reviewing and improving existing processes and policies across 3 functions. Leading in supplier relationship management, logistics planning and warehouse efficiency



improvements to deliver operational excellence targets.







Job Scope



1. Plan and implement the overall supply chain strategy (incl. Purchasing, Warehouse and



Logistic)







2.Warehouse Management



• Lead team to optimize warehouse operations and improve team productivity, fulfil timely order picking and material management to customer's requirements.



• Vendor management for bonded warehouse space management, service standards and cost management.







3.Procurement & Logistics



• Establish strong and efficient procurement policies to reduce costs and improve



• supplier quality. Lead in major supplier negotiations and procurement activities.



• Building strong relationships with GF internal factories to attain project pricing support and timely deliveries to meet customer requirements. Develop strong logistics planning and material inventory forecast processes to support factory production planning and project sales.



• Freight logistics costs management and improve on-time delivery at target costs.



• Collaborate with other departments to create coordinated plans for business growth







4.Team Leadership – To lead, motivate and coach team members to deliver optimal results through established and/or new processes.







5.Compliance – Ensure all supply chain processes meet legal requirements and standards







6 Ad hoc duties as assigned by Managing Director











Job Requirement, Skills and Qualifications:



- Candidate must possess at least a Degree in Supply Chain, Logistic, Finance, Business Administration or equivalent



- Minimum 5-7 years of managerial experience in supply chain management within the logistics or manufacturing industry.



- Proven track record in work process improvements, vendor management and inventory planning.



- Experience and Knowledge with SAP System and strong command of MS Excel for data analysis and forecasting.



- Relevant management experience in Supply Chain / Warehouse & Logistic / Procurement will be added advantage



- Strong knowledge in Logistic process for import and export when dealing with Kastam, MIDA, MITI and ect



- Possess good interpersonal, analytical and communication skill











Working hours:



Mon to Fri 8.30am - 5.30pm
