Job Description 

• Liaise and negotiate with the forwarder, shipping agent, transporter and customs officers to ensure smooth delivery and cost-effective all inbound and outbound shipment.
• Responsible for logistical flow performance to secure product delivery to the customers at the lowest possible total landed cost.
• Ensure all shipping relevant documents (DO, packing list, CLL, invoices, etc.) are prepared, collected and verified before any loading and unloading take place.
• Ensure availability of the company’s appointed transporters (lorry drivers) as and when needed and ensure they safeguard the delivery products in good condition whilst in transit from pickup point to the destination and on-time delivery as per schedule.
• Resolve problems concerning transportation, logistic systems, imports or exports, or customer issues with corrective and preventative actions.
• Ensure completeness and accuracy of all shipping documents (Form D, Commercial invoices, packing list, custom form, bills of lading, certificates of origin, LC and etc) for the transportation of finished goods/materials for prompt deliveries.
• Act as the key liaison and follow up with government authorities (Custom, MIDA, MITI & etc.) and consignee/ forwarding/freight agents on custom related matters (Custom Clearance) and shipment (Containers booking), as well as, if any insurance claims for damaged or discrepancy goods, as and when needed.
• Ensure that the picking and processing activities are performed accurately and efficiently to meet required timelines and to maintain accurate data within the system.
• Maintain good working relationships within and across departments.
• To ensure all completed work orders are billed correctly to the clients and key-in immediately in the system.
• To ensure all PO received from local/oversea customers are well verified (product, price, delivery, payment & shipping terms) and update into system. Co-ordinate with relevant dept to complete the orders before delivery deadlines.

• To ensure all PR received are being approved by Managing Director with supported quotation (new purchase), then issue PO and get approval from Managing Director.
• To source and negotiate with suppliers for the best price and payment terms. To maintain ASL (Approved Supplier List) and review supplier performance as per ISO requirements.
• To GRN, check ,verify and resolved all invoices/ DO received from vendors are in correct manners before passing to A/C dept.
• To update and maintain all documents in a good filing system for easy retrievable manner.
• Any task may assign by top management from time to time.
