Job Summary
This position reports to Category Manager in sourcing for indirect procurement area, focus on standard equipment and MRO. The business scope is mainly for entire Asia area and the candidate is required to develop, implement and measure the sourcing commodity strategy that fully meet the supply chain needs and business requirements.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Be responsible for standard equipment RFQs, mainly related to Industrial Robot, Injection molding machine, Clearing machine and so on, together with the spare parts management.
- Develop and execute commodity sourcing strategy for local and regional initiatives to ensure the competitiveness on QDCS.
- Analyze the market conditions for assigned commodities, identify new technologies, develop and assess new supplier to extend and optimize supplier base pool.
- Conduct online bidding process and negotiate commercial terms with suppliers, strong cost analysis skills with CBD concept.
- Develop and implement programs related to supplier relationship management, cost management and spending management.
- Be a reginal interface between supplier and internal stakeholder. Close collaboration with both parties to ensure the sourced commodity meet quality, cost, delivery and service requirements。
Education & Experience Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Engineering, Logistic or Supply Chain Management
- Minimum of 2 years’ strategic sourcing experience on equipment or MRO. With experience on customs & logistic area, or high-volume electronical manufacturing environment will be preferred.
- High Integrity / Responsibility / Team Spirit / Detailed
- English skills, both in verbal and written.
- Good skills on Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
- Able to travel across entire ASIA area if required
