Qualifications & experience
- Degree in Business, Management or other related discipline.
Ability to demonstrate solid written & oral communication skills.
- Knowledge of materials purchasing, supplier exploring and management, Customs law and policy, logistics activity, inventory control, planning control and continue improvement.
- 8 years working experience in Management of materials and Customer Service in a manufacturing environment
At least 3 year working experience at senior management level
Tasks & responsibilities
- Manage supply chain effectively to ensure continuous supply of quality materials.
Develop and execute sourcing strategy to meet company’s objective and business growth.
Identify and manage effective relationships with existing and potential suppliers to established cost and delivery target.
- Ensure shipping policies and custom procedures are adhere to.
Liaise with government agency such as Customs and DOSH on shipping matters and schedule waste management.
Participate and support global procurement council activities.
- Liaise and manage HUB inventory.
Solve in timely manner any issue arises that will cause downtime to operations.
- Develop and Implement Customer Service policies and procedures.
Plan, prioritize and delegate work tasks to ensure proper functioning of the department.
Monitoring the accuracy of reporting and database information.
- Oversee the achievement and Maintenance of all order processing activities within the stipulated time frame.
Handle complex and escalated issues with various departments/designated department to ensure customers complaint or issue are resolved.
- Recruit, Mentor, Develop, evaluate and manage staff performance by identifying and addressing their training/coaching needs and nurture an environment where they can excel through encouragement and empowerment.
- Participate and support global procurement council activities.
Ensure indirect expenses /MRO are under control in line with budgetary numbers.
