Develops schedules and manpower requirements for assigned areas. Track and report shift KPIs: MCD/MCSD risk, safety incidents, scrap/MRB, overtime. Identify performance gaps between shifts; support corrective action plans. Prepare materials and facilitate weekly Ops review meetings with Shift Managers. Own and manage Overtime Tracker, Kaizen topics, and bi-weekly Quality Hot-Topic reviews. Process Standardization & Continuous Improvement Coordinate cross-functional improvement projects (5S, RCCA, 8D) with representatives from all shifts. Facilitate Kaizen projects ensuring measurable outcomes and cross-shift participation. Coordinate rollout and adoption of new systems (e.g., Timekeeping, BEM). Collaborate with Shift Managers and Manufacturing Integrator on staffing, training, and equipment forecasts. Coordinate with training department for cross-training matrix. Support shift rotation schedules, overtime allocation, and absenteeism coverage. Investigate and resolve material usage variances. Ensure compliance with OSHA, ISO, and internal standards via audits and follow-ups. Support incident investigations involving multiple shifts; implement preventive measures. Maintain training matrix and certification compliance records. Prepare and coordinate ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and customer audits as manufacturing representative. Track and minimize material waste at non-finished goods stages. 5+ years of manufacturing experience (high-volume environment preferred). Proven experience in Lean / continuous improvement (Kaizen facilitator, Green Belt, or similar preferred). Strong data analysis, process standardization, and project coordination skills. Excellent communication, meeting facilitation, and cross-functional influence skills. Advanced proficiency in Excel, dashboards (Power BI), and production tracking systems (OMS, SAP, KM matrix). Must be able to be based in Batu Kawan, Penang. Would prefer candidate from Engineering background (Manufacturing/Mechanical/EE) Able to lead teams through results, discipline and engagement. Workforce planning & shift optimization. Drives problem-solving and ensure lessons learned are institutionalized. Drive sustainable performance improvement. Leads improvement projects and sustains gains through standardization Cross functional collaboration. Align manufacturing with engineering, quality, supply chain to business priorities.
