System Admin Or Linux Patch Management Support

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and deploy Linux OS patches and security updates.
• Perform vulnerability remediation based on security scan reports.
• Monitor patch compliance across Linux environments.
• Coordinate patching activities with application and infrastructure teams.
• Validate patch deployment and troubleshoot failures.
• Prepare patching reports and compliance dashboards.
• Support maintenance windows and change management activities.
• Ensure systems comply with organizational security standards.

Required Skills

• Experience in Linux Administration (RHEL/CentOS/Ubuntu).
• Knowledge of patch management tools such as Red Hat Satellite, Ansible, or Spacewalk.
• Experience with vulnerability management tools such as Qualys, Nessus, or Rapid7.
• Understanding of security patching, CVEs, and compliance requirements.
• Good troubleshooting and communication skills.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes and change management.

Preferred Skills

• Shell scripting.
• Automation using Ansible.
• Experience in enterprise data center environments.
• Basic cloud knowledge (AWS, Azure, GCP).
