Why we need you
- To commission and maintain current hosted infrastructure on-prem and cloud.
- Attend and resolve any system related issues.
- Timely escalation of complex issues according to service level objectives.
- To participate in the evaluation, implementation, and maintenance of complementary tools & solutions to strengthen current infrastructure performances and efficiency.
- To enhance and maintain Disaster Recovery procedures for existing and new systems.
- To adhere to established best practices, procedures and guidelines, and compliance to audit and industry standards (For example: PCI-DSS).
- To perform day-to-day operations, backup operation, system administration, tuning and capacity management of current infrastructure on-prem and cloud to ensure good performance and healthy.
Good to have
- Minimum of 2+ years of industry experience working with Cloud technologies and handling DevOps functions for complex systems.
- Experience with database, networks (LAN, WAN) and cloud infrastructure is required.
- Experience with scripting is a must. For example, yum, JSON, python.
- Experience in using broad range of AWS services to develop and maintain AWS based cloud solution & infrastructure, with an emphasis on best practice cloud security.
- Drive adoption of DevOps framework like Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment.
- Familiar with various Server Operating Systems (Windows, Linux and etc).
- Experience and knowledge in the following areas are desired: Ngnix, Apache Web, Tomcat Application, Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, ELK logging, Dockers, Nagios, Gitlab.
- Recommend and plan for future growth of systems taking into consideration capacity planning, monitoring, backup, Disaster Recovery, and Business Continuity for operating infrastructure.
- Familiar with working in Agile and Scrum Projects.
- Able to work on-call for standby during sales period.
