Tactical purchaser - Get Hired Fast

Your Tasks:
1. Implement and support strategy
▪ Implement the prescribed sourcing strategies in terms of prices and contract 
negotiations
▪ Ensure that purchasing targets/KPI’s appointed by and agreed with the superior are met
▪ Continuously analyze and develop for assigned material groups/material cluster the sourcing markets and the requirements/demand of internal clients 
▪ Support strategic purchasers through knowledge/information according to 
regional markets circumstances, and new developments
▪ Closely cooperates with the strategic Purchaser in projects
▪ Report and monitor achieved purchasing performances
    Ensure as “Gatekeeper”, so process requirements are maintained, brief 
internal clients accordingly
    Work on supplier evaluation and development
▪ In his/her assigned material groups and organizational unit contact person for purchasing issues within the given authority 
2. Purchasing process, contract and order management
▪ Ensure the punctual and accurate processing of contracts and orders in 
accordance with the SCHOTT purchasing guideline, including order post processing and master data administration; review prices, terms of payment and delivery, maintain supplier-related agreements in accessible data bases 
▪ Adjust daily business activites with suppliers, operates as “single point of contact” for suppliers e. g. demand/volume/delivery date changes
▪ Support superior with the optimization of sourcing processes and systems to increase the efficiency of purchasing processes (e. g. benchmarks, worldwide 
purchasing) or adopt appropriate measures

▪Execute all purchasing activities and sourcing management decisions under consideration of principles of Compliance, environmental safety, health and safety (IMSU/EHS), as well as social responsibility (CSR)

▪Purchasing processes, tools, and systems (e.g. SAP, SPO, e-Commerce) ▪internal customer's needs (technical and commercial)
