Snapshot of the role:

As the Talent Acquisition Manager, you will play a pivotal role in attracting, sourcing, and retaining top talent for QL HQ and QL Group. You will be responsible for developing and executing recruitment strategies to meet our hiring needs while ensuring a positive candidate experience. The ideal candidate will be proactive, resourceful, and have a proven track record of successfully managing full-cycle recruitment processes for the organisation.

 

You are driven to:

  • Design and implement innovative recruitment strategies to attract top talent, utilizing various channels such as job boards, social media, networking events, and employee referrals.
  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, resume screening, conducting interviews, and making hiring decisions. Ensure a smooth and efficient candidate experience throughout the process.
  • Build and maintain a robust talent pipeline for current and future hiring needs. Proactively source candidates through networking, talent databases, and other creative methods.
  • Facilitate the foreign placement process for international hires, including visa application, relocation logistics, and cultural assimilation support. 
  • Partner closely with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and develop customized recruitment plans for each role. Provide guidance and support throughout the hiring process.
  • Develop and execute employer branding to enhance the company's employer brand and ensure a positive reputation in the market. Develop compelling employer branding materials and participate in employer branding initiatives.
  • Develop and implement an effective onboarding process to ensure new hires are welcomed, oriented, and integrated into the organization seamlessly. Coordinate with various departments to facilitate training, orientation sessions, and mentorship programs.
  • Utilize data and analytics to track recruitment metrics and evaluate the effectiveness of recruitment strategies. Generate regular reports to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.

 

What you’ll need to succeed:
 

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 10 years of experience in talent acquisition or recruitment.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing full-cycle recruitment processes.
  • Strong understanding of recruitment best practices, including sourcing strategies, candidate assessment, and offer negotiation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and team members.
  • Resourceful, able to work independently and under pressure.
  • Self-motivated, with positive attitude and able to interact with all level of people and motivate others.
  • Able to travel regularly and have own transport. 
  • Candidate must be willing to be based at HQ, Shah Alam.
