Talent Development and Employee Engagement Specialist

Organisational Development (Human Resources & Recruitment)

We are seeking a dedicated Talent Development and Employee Engagement Specialist to enhance our organizational performance by developing talent and fostering a culture of engagement. This role will focus on designing, implementing, and managing programs that develop employees’ skills, increase job satisfaction, and promote a positive work environment.

Responsibilities:

1. Training Programs

  • Design and deliver training programs to enhance employees' skills and competencies.
  • Conduct needs assessments to identify skill gaps and develop targeted learning solutions.
  • Utilize various training methods, including e-learning, workshops, and on-the-job training.
  • Develop career pathing and progression frameworks to support employee growth.
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to employees to support their career development goals.
  • Implement development plans for high-potential employees and emerging leaders.

3. Performance Management

  • Assist in the design and implementation of performance management systems.
  • Compile performance management date periodically.
  • Analyze performance data to identify trends and areas for improvement.

4. Engagement Strategies

  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance employee engagement and retention.
  • Conduct regular employee surveys and focus groups to gather feedback and identify engagement drivers.
  • Create action plans based on survey results and track progress.

5.Recognition Programs

  • Design and manage employee recognition and reward programs.
  • Promote a culture of appreciation and continuous feedback.
  • Organize events and initiatives to celebrate employee achievements and milestones.

6.Workplace Culture

  • Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
  • Implement initiatives to promote work-life balance, diversity, and employee well-being.
  • Act as a cultural ambassador and ensure alignment of HR practices with organizational values.
  • Work closely with HR and management to align talent development and engagement strategies with business goals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive HR projects and initiatives.
  • Provide expertise and support to managers on employee development and engagement matters.

8. Employee Engagement

  • Serve as a point of contact for employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, performance management, and disciplinary actions.
  • Provide guidance and support to employees on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Investigate and address employee grievances and complaints in a timely and confidential manner.
  • Conduct exit interviews and analyze feedback to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of employee engagement initiatives, such as recognition programs, team-building activities, and wellness initiatives.

  • Knowledge of employee engagement best practices and strategies.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and manage multiple priorities.
