Tax Assistant Manager - Start Now

Norvic Tax a medium size taxation firm founded in 1987 with a staff size of 35. Our firm has built up a solid client base over the years. We’re hiring Tax Assistant Manager to support our team in Damansara Jaya. Chosen candidates shall work under the tutelage of the Tax Manager or Tax Director with good opportunities for career growth.

Job Requirements:

• Provide support to tax compliance advisory services for clients in various industries.
• Supervise a team of 3-5 subordinates.
• Review tax computation, tax returns and assignments prepared by the subordinates.
• Compliance and reporting, tax management and risk and control assessment.
• Conduct research and consult with team members on various tax matters.
• Work closely with clients and liaise with various government agencies such as Inland Revenue Board, Ministry of Finance and other government agencies.
• Prepare or review transfer pricing documentations.
• Attend to other indirect tax matters.
• Any other ad hoc tax matters where necessary

Requirements

• Possess minimum a Bachelor Degree in related disciplines such as Accounting/Economics/Tax/Finance or any Professional Qualification such as CPA/ACCA/MIA/MICPA/CTIM.
• Strong proficiency in both written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia. Able to converse and write in Mandarin would be an added advantage.
• Possess good organizational skills and able to prioritize work to meet tight deadlines
• A strong team player and willing to share responsibilities as a team.
• Possess good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
