Tax Associate / Semi-Senior Tax Associate - Energetic Workplace

Job Description:

• Preparing corporate and individual tax computations and return for timely submission to the tax Authorities;
• Preparing provisional corporate and individual tax computations upon clients’ requests;
• Assists and advises clients on compliance requirements;
• Assists in advisory and consultancy work such as appeals to IRB;
• Assists in advisory of latest tax updates to clients;
• Liaising with IRB on behalf of clients; and
• Tax administration works such as tax refund application to IRB etc

Requirements:

• Degree in a relevant discipline and / or professional qualification is preferably in the areas of Finance / Accountancy / Taxation (e.g. ACCA / AIA / CTIM graduate);
• Minimum 2 years of related experience in a reputable accounting firm;
• A member of a recognized professional accounting / taxation body will be an added advantage;
• Must be analytical, self-motivated; organized and able to multi-task and work independently with minimum supervision;
• Detail oriented;
• Able to take initiative, work independently and possess high integrity;
• Good command of verbal and writing skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia; and
• An advantage to candidates who are familiar with SPC tax software
