Tax Executive - Immediate Start

Job Description:

• Preparation of tax computations and filing of the tax returns for the companies.
• Compilation of tax information, review and submit to tax consultants for preparing of tax computations and filing of tax returns for active companies.
• Preparation and filing of tax estimation for the companies.
• Compilation of tax information, prepare and filing of monthly service tax returns to the Customs.
• Review documents and monitor the remittance of payment to the tax authorities / Customs is made on timely manner, i.e. balance of tax payable, monthly tax instalment, withholding tax, service tax and etc.
• Monitor and initiate follow up actions to expedite tax refund and finalisation of outstanding tax issues/ disputes with the tax authorities / Customs.
• Assist in managing indirect tax compliance matters and recovery of excess payment from the Customs (if any).
• Assist in compilation information and reviewing of transfer pricing (TP") documentation as well as implementation of TP requirements on related party transactions.
• Assist in liaison with tax authorities / Custom on audit and investigation, application and appeal on tax related matters.
• Assist in tax projects, research and analysis of tax issues both Malaysia and other jurisdiction as delegated.
• Execution of any other job responsibilities as and when required by the superior(s) / the management from time to time.

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a diploma/degree/professional qualification or its equivalents in accounting and finance.
• At least 2-3 years working experience in account and/or tax related job. Fresh graduate are also welcome to apply for this position.
• Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin, English.
• Possess initiative, able to work independently and good interpersonal skills.
• Resourceful with strong analytical, good problem solving and time management skills.
• Results driven with multi-tasking capabilities.
