Job Overview

Key Responsibilities
- Curriculum Development: Design and implement a comprehensive and engaging psychology curriculum that meets the academic standards and requirements of the school.
- Instruction: Deliver effective and innovative instruction in psychology to students, utilizing a variety of teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles.
- Assessment: Develop and administer assessments to evaluate student progress and understanding. Provide timely and constructive feedback to students and parents.
- Classroom Management: Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and engagement.
- Student Support: Provide academic and emotional support to students, addressing individual needs and fostering a culture of mutual respect and collaboration.

Qualifications and Experience
- Education: A Bachelors degree in Psychology or a related field is required. A Masters degree in Psychology or Education is preferred.
- Certification: Teaching certification or licensure in psychology is required. International teaching certifications (e.g., IB, Cambridge) are highly desirable.
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of teaching experience, preferably in an international school setting. Experience teaching high school psychology courses is essential.
- Skills:
- Strong knowledge of psychology and its various subfields.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- Ability to create engaging and differentiated lesson plans.
