About the Role
We are seeking a meticulous and committed Team Member, Fund Operations to join our Fund Accounting Circle within Asset Management Operations. In this role, you will be responsible for the timely and accurate preparation of unitholders’ and regulatory reports, while ensuring strict adherence to approved reporting standards and regulatory guidelines. You will act as a key liaison point for reporting-related queries and work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to support robust fund reporting and governance.
What you will be doing
Prepare and submit quarterly, semi-annual, and annual unitholders’ reports, including notes to accounts and supporting schedules
Prepare monthly regulatory reports and ensure timely submission after verification and approval
Review draft unitholders’ reports prepared by outsourced service providers, including notes and supporting schedules
Act as a liaison point for reporting queries from management, unitholders, regulators, auditors, trustees, Shariah advisors, and tax agents
Ensure strict adherence to regulatory requirements, reporting standards, risk, and compliance guidelines
Maintain accuracy and integrity of fund accounting information, ensuring no non-compliance incidents or financial loss due to errors or omissions
Coordinate with internal teams and external parties for information sharing and report submissions
Participate in projects, initiatives, and process improvement efforts to enhance operational efficiency
Provide cross-support to other teams within Asset Management Operations when required
What we're looking for
Diploma, Degree, or professional qualification in Accounting or a related field
At least 1–2 years of working experience in asset management, fund accounting, or a related industry
Good accounting and tax knowledge relating to asset management or unit trust funds
Strong understanding of regulatory and financial reporting requirements
High attention to detail with strong numerical accuracy and problem-solving skills
Good stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills
Proficient in MS Office and familiarity with fund accounting or core operational systems is an advantage
Able to work under broad policy guidelines and meet assigned objectives and deadlines
