Technical Advisor / Mechanical Field Engineer

Job Description:

The mechanical field engineer holds the responsibility for producing documentation, conducting inspections and validations of equipment in the workshop and on site, and overseeing the on-site installation of equipment delivered to clients.

The mechanical field engineer is collaborating closely with various departments within the company:

• He coordinates, supervises, and executes dismantling and/or installation of our equipment, 
• He inspects and control quality of works including the dimensional examination of civil works. 
• He is able to read instructions manual, method of statements and construction drawings 
• He submits a summary of weekly activity and time sheets duly signed by the customer 
• He attends site meeting 
• He performs expertise of the former equipment and defines the parts to be changed 
• He performs the maintenance of our equipment 
• He participates to the workshop inspection.
• He resolves site problems and any non-conformity that may be detected. 
• He strictly applies the safety policy of the company 
• Act as a safety and quality ambassador (Communicate the problems encountered, open FLQ/FLS) 
• Open and Follow-up the non-conformity reports, corrective and preventive actions 
• Ensure that all quality documentation is available before releasing the equipment 
• Ensure that all site non-conformities or problems are solved before releasing the equipment 
• Provide reports after site intervention
