Technical Lead - System Engineer

Looking for a Senior System Engineer to support global engineering IT systems and quality applications, ensuring system stability, operational excellence, and user satisfaction through proactive support, maintenance, and development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide 2nd level IT support for engineering and quality gatekeeping systems.

• Ensure round-the-clock availability via on-call support, system maintenance, and monitoring.

• Implement service requests and system changes based on user requirements.

• Lead problem management and deploy solutions to improve system stability.

• Set up early fault detection systems for proactive issue resolution.

• Manage user requirement engineering, including FIT and UAT testing.

• Handle software upgrades and technology refresh activities.

• Collaborate on global IT projects and continuous system improvement.

Required Skills:

• Bachelor's in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields (1 - 2 years of experience or fresh grads).

• Background in semiconductor manufacturing (preferred).

• Experience in IT/system support and user requirement handling.

• Proficiency in data/file transfer, system interfaces, and integration.

• Strong knowledge in databases (Oracle PL/SQL, SQL, MS SQL).

• Experience in OS-level maintenance (Windows, Unix, Linux) and scripting (Perl).

• Familiarity with ITIL practices (incident, problem, change management).

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and team collaboration skills.
