Technical Sales Engineer - Global Market

Company Background:

We are representing our client, a well-established and leading steel manufacturer specializing in Steel Grandstand Systems and Stadium Roofing solutions. They are currently seeking a Technical Sales Engineer to join their dynamic team and support their global business.

Salary: RM8,000 - RM10,000 + Commission

Working Day: 9:00am - 5:30pm (Mon - Fri)

Work Location: Petaling Jaya, Selangor

Job Responsibilities:

• To support the implementation of sales strategies and drive revenue growth in international markets.
• Assist in developing and focusing of sales in seating products (modular grandstand and stadium project).
• Assist in analysis new incoming grandstand enquiry by clearly questioning the prospect (analysis phase), following by creating grandstand layout with economical proposal.
• Assist in conducting negotiations with new prospects to secure favorable terms and conditions for sales contract.
• Manage the entire order processing cycle including quotation, contract, payment, and delivery schedule.

Job Requirement:

• Possess a Degree/ Advance Diploma in Civil Engineering or relevant fields.
• Minimum of 5 years of proven sales experience in the steel structure, scaffolding, or related construction and engineering industries.
• At least 3 years of experience in overseas business development, including handling international clients, projects, or markets
• Strong negotiation, analysis, and communication skills.
• Fluent English, any other language will be a plus.
• Solid customer service skill, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of international trade regulations and compliance
• Willing to travel overseas for site visit
