To support our aggressive expansion and strengthen our on -the -ground presence across Malaysia, we are seeking a highly motivated and technically sound Technical Sales Engineer to drive our B2B commercial pipelines.
Position Title: Technical Sales Engineer
Base Location: Central / Northern / Southern / East Malaysia
Employment Type: Full -Time, Permanent
Core Focus: B2B Account Management, Technical Product Consulting, and Lead Generation
New Business Acquisition: Actively identify, prospect, and secure new B2B manufacturing and industrial accounts across the region to expand market share.
Technical Consultation: Conduct face -to -face site visits with engineers, maintenance heads, and procurement teams to understand their pain points and propose optimal technical product solutions.
Account Relationship Management: Maintain and upsell to an existing portfolio of client accounts, ensuring long -term loyalty through exceptional technical support and customer service.
Commercial Execution: Prepare technical proposals, generate competitive quotations, negotiate contract terms, and follow up closely on payment collections.
Cross -Functional Collaboration: Partner with internal technical support, R&D, and supply chain teams to coordinate product trials, custom modifications, and timely product delivery.
Education: Minimum Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical), Chemistry, or a related technical discipline.
Experience:
2–3 years of proven B2B sales experience specifically within the industrial or manufacturing sector.
Fresh graduates with a strong engineering background and a clear passion for commercial sales are welcome to apply.
Skills: Strong communication and presentation skills, basic negotiation ability, and a foundational understanding of factory operations or manufacturing setups.
Attributes: Self -motivated, hungry for success, disciplined in scheduling site visits, and possesses a strong willingness to learn complex technical products.
Mobility: Must possess own transport and be willing to travel extensively within the assigned regional territory.
