Penerangan Pekerjaan - Technical Sales & Support Manager(ASEAN) - Based in Penang
Job Responsibilities
Initially help establish a regional sales/support office in Penang. (working alongside ‘Sales & General Manager for ASEAN’)
Applications & Technical Sales Support for ASEAN (Both pre & post-sales)
Work with existing & future sales partners (share training material & knowledge from HQ on a local basis)
Proactively identify & develop new/potential customer accounts in efforts to significantly grow our business within this region (Including the adoption of system integration accounts)
Primarily focused on supporting for programmable switching/simulation solutions initially for reed relay components and cable/connector solutions.
Providing sales & applications support for day to day ASEAN opportunities especially for the key territories of Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Philippines and Singapore.
Support closure of orders (whether via sales channels or direct), which may require presenting solutions, demonstrating hardware/software & creating application specific examples and working with test engineering groups at key accounts to help define new product requirements
Representing the company at trade shows across ASEAN and work with partners for any regional seminars or web meetings
Work closely with R&D teams for new product proposals into strategic opportunities with some serving cutting edge applications
Supporting service/repair requirements in a timely manner
Working with internal where necessary to address customer issues, generate RMAs & communicate activity
Carrying out local repairs (future), in the support office for improved service in terms of time & cost
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree (or similar), in an electronics related subject and/or several years technical experience within the industry
Ideally in test & measurement, with an awareness of industry trends & new technologies
Possess a good balance of electronics hardware & software skills
Experience in functional test a bonus
Experience in Linux, MS Windows operating systems required
Understanding of NI LabVIEW, NI Veristand, NI Teststand as well as programming environments such as C, C++, C# & Python.
Solid PC skills using Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, Outlook & PowerPoint
CRM software experience (such as SalesForce/HubSpot), a bonus
