Responsibilities

• Responsible for developing and implementing our firm’s quality management system;
• Perform financial statements and audit quality assurance reviews;
• Work closely with audit engagement teams and provide other support in identifying engagement risk and establishing relevant measures to mitigate the risk;
• Provide technical advice on accounting and auditing standards;
• Provide guidance, coaching, and constructive feedback to audit team members;
• Handle regulatory inquiries and compliance issues;
• Liaise with other internal functions to ensure consistent implementation of policies and procedures within the practice;
• Review and comment on reports and other legal documents;
• Provide training and keep abreast of the latest regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or above in accounting or related disciplines;
• Advanced written and verbal communication skills in English, preferably having knowledge in Cantonese, and Putonghua; (Candidates who are fluent in Mandarin are preferred as it is necessary to interact with Mandarin-speaking clients);
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in CPA firms; more experience will be considered for a higher position (i.e. with experience at the managerial level in the regulatory organization of the accounting profession will be considered as Assistant Manager/ Manager);
• Proficient in assurance standards and financial reporting regulatory environment;
• Good knowledge of risk management with relevant experience;
• Ability to interact with executive levels of firm management;
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a commitment to quality;
• Immediate availability is highly preferred.
