Responsibilities:
- To provide professional technical support to sales staff and supporting departments.
- To carry solutions to solve technical problems in product applications at customers and sales, sample testing, inspection and maintenance.
- To provide and perform set of procedures and guidelines which are in line with company’s policies and objectives in related to integrated management system.
- To maintain and update the material master database in relate to technical documentation and product information, not limited to TDS, SDS, COA and HSE documentation and ensure its accurate & correctness.
- To work closely with sales staff to identify and recommend business opportunities in respect of new product and new customer.
- To work closely with product principals to understand product characteristic, product applications and formulating solutions for the related application fields.
- To participate in specific product development projects and with testing evaluation and research information to recommend and promote the viability of new / alternative products.
- To follow up closely together with co-team and relevant sales staff with potential customers on project status & sample testing and provide technical advice as required.
Qualification:
- At least a bachelor’s degree in chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology, Biomedical, Biochemistry or its equivalent.
- Minimum of 3 years of working experience in Chemical / Technical Support related field
- Chemical handling & should have experience with chemical products for industries like home & personal care.
- End product application and formulating skills.
- Basic knowledge of ISO procedure, work instructions and guidelines
- Pro-active, energetic and have a pleasant personality.
