Technician - Urgent Role

REQUIREMENT:

1. Candidate must possess at least SPM/ Certificate in Computer Science/ certificate in electrical or equivalent.
2. At least 1 Year(s) of working experience in Networking cabling.
3. Possess driving license (D)
4. Willing to travel outstation when required.
5. Required language(s): Bahasa Melayu, English
6. Aggressive, self-disciplined and good communication skills.
7. Excellent service-oriented attitude towards customer.
8. Willing to team and follow the instruction from superior, able to work in a team and independently.
9. TM NIOSH & TNB NIOSH card holder is preferred

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Providing updates on work in progress and current issues 
2. Site Preparations and Readiness
   1. Environment check and confirmation
3. Site Survey
   1. Perform on-site survey
   2. Prepare complete on-site survey report which including the feasibility of installation equipment, type of power (AC or DC) and highlighting any foreseeable problems and additional infrastructure
   3. Advise on the suitability of rooms and facilities provided by TM for the installation.
   4. To draft and prepare scaled drawings showing rational location of various types of racks and structures taking into consideration future development of the station.
   5. To list out the length of all types of cables, type of housing and other installation accessories
   6. To prepare a breakdown list of racks, shelves, housings, cards, installation materials and spares for each system in the form of draft BOQ.
   7. Verification check on the Bill of Quantity per site.
   8. Per form the site survey checklist/ report and submit to Project Documentation team.
   9. Assist documentation team to prepare the site survey report to submit to principal and TM. 
4. Hardware Installation
   1. Perform hardware installation including equipment, power cable, fiber cable, rack and others additional requirement by TM.
   2. Supervise and assist hardware installation work which carried out by subcontractor
   3. Scope also inclusive of delivery of all local materials as stated in the Bill of Materials of the Contract till customer site.
5. Hardware Quality & Control 
   1. Perform the hardware installation quality and safety standard establishment from site.
   2. Perform the quality and safety report at site.
6. Maintenance/troubleshooting
   1. Assist Tech. Engineer to perform the preventive maintenance.
   2. Perform the 1st Level troubleshooting.
