Telemarketer - with Growth Opportunities

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Telemarketer to join our sales team. The Telemarketer will be responsible for reaching out to potential customers over the phone, introducing them to our products or services, and aiming to meet or exceed sales targets.

Responsibilities:

1. Conduct outbound calls to potential and existing customers to solicit sales for goods or services.
2. Explain products or services in detail, including prices and benefits, and answer any questions from customers.
3. Follow sales scripts and strategies to ensure consistency of sales program.
4. Set appointments with prospective customers based on our associates’ schedules.
5. Maintain records of calls and sales and note useful information in the database.
6. Achieve specified sales targets and outcomes within schedules.
7. Handle customer rejections and objections calmly and effectively, seeking to convert a no into a yes.
8. Update knowledge of product offerings, competitor activities, and responses to marketing campaigns.
9. Manage and resolve customer complaints, ensuring customer satisfaction.
10. Participate in team meetings and take responsibility for sales improvement initiatives and other assigned action items.

Requirements:

1. Education: High school diploma or equivalent; further education or training in sales is highly advantageous.
2. Experience: Previous experience in a telemarketing, sales, or customer service role is preferred.
3. Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to be persuasive and negotiate effectively.
4. Exceptional customer service skills and a positive, persuasive personality.
5. Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
6. Familiarity with relevant computer applications and telephone systems.
7. Available to work in shifts as needed.
