About the Role
Location: Lunas / Jitra, Kedah & Perlis
The Territory Sales Executive is responsible for driving business performance within the assigned territory by identifying the right customers for the right products, always with the patient’s benefit at the centre.
This role focuses heavily on distributor management, overseeing Sell-In / Sell-Out (SISO), trade spend (G2N), field execution, and coaching of external sales and merchandising teams. You will embed Segmentation & Targeting (S&T) and Patient Focused Selling (PFS) into daily execution to ensure sustainable growth and strong market presence.
A Day in the Life (What you’ll do)
Distributor & Sales Operations
Oversee Sell-In / Sell-Out (SISO) performance and monthly planning
Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly briefings and coaching with distributor sales teams.
Track SO vs. time gone to ensure delivery against targets.
Commercial & Trade Spend Management
Plan and achieve quarterly and annual sales targets within approved G2N (trade spend) guidelines.
Monitor trade spend effectiveness and ensure disciplined investment
Distribution & Execution Excellence
Drive distribution, display, and campaign execution in line with marketing and trade plans.
Maximize sales through healthy inventory management and strong stock
hygiene
Partner with third-party merchandisers to ensure product visibility and promotion compliance.
Stakeholder & Relationship Management
Build strong, professional relationships with distributors and outlets
Negotiate effectively to improve sales, promotions, and merchandising
standards.
Requirements
Minimum 3 years’ experience in FMCG, pharmaceutical, or similarly regulated industries
Proven experience managing local distributors and leading sales and merchandising teams
Strong understanding of trade spends (G2N), SISO, and field execution
Highly disciplined, independent, and able to perform under pressure
Strong communication, presentation, and analytical skills
Degree / Diploma / SPM holders considered, with emphasis on relevant experience
Demonstrates a strong patient-focused mindset and commitment to continuous improvement
