Job Responsibilities:

• Test Equipment Engineer (System Level Test-SLT).
• Ensure equipment operation procedures and maintenance programs are in place.
• Ensure equipment Preventive Maintenance practice is in place and carry out in a timely basis.
• Project management and coordinate development or improvement of equipment for processor functional test.
• Develop and establish equipment operating procedures, troubleshooting and service/maintenance program.
• Monitor line-equipment issues, analyse and initiate problem solving or providing engineering solutions.
• Assist product or manufacturing group in new product or process development and qualification.
• Liaise with vendors on resolving technical issues as and when needed.
• Develop and establish training and troubleshooting programs on equipment and hardware.
• Develop and establish hardware inventory management program.
• Drive improvements, initiate problem solving and develop creative engineering solutions to achieve low cost, better quality, improved capabilities, and higher efficiency.
• Lead a group of Technicians to meet the KPIs set by Operations and Factory.
• To support duties and tasks assigned by management as and when needed.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical / Electronics / Mechanical / Mechatronics Engineering or related.

• At least 2-3 years of semiconductor industrial experience focusing on Equipment / ATE / Handler maintenance, upkeep, OEE and related.

• Experience in Tester, Handler, industrial or automated manufacturing systems.

• Understanding of semi-conductor manufacturing.

• Relevant hands-on experience in Equipment / ATE / Handler maintenance.

• Familiar in FT testing will be preferred along with PCB troubleshooting and debugging skills.

• Semiconductor Test Handler / ATE / Equipment exposure and hands on experience will be preferred.

• Strong team player.

• Independent, resourceful and takes initiative.

• Effective communication skills (English and Bahasa Malaysia).
