Job details

• To work at a Thai restaurant on the Southern Peninsular of Malaysia

Responsibilities

• Developing menu items, purchasing ingredients, and recipes.
• Ensuring and enforcing food standards and cost control in compliance with regulations.
• Monitoring kitchen staff’s performance according to standards and recipes.
• Assisting the Group Head Chef with scheduling work shifts.
• Directly cooking or supervising cooking, along with proficient food preparation skills.
• Maintaining food quality and ensuring timely preparation/cooking.
• Ensuring sanitation and cleanliness standards are upheld throughout the entire kitchen area.

Requirements

• Motivating subordinate team members to work proactively.
• Ability to manage within the chain, prioritizing fast-paced work.
• Responsibility and the capability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Proven Thai cooking skills.
