Job Summary:

Take charge of tool and die making, modifications, troubleshooting, and tooling management. Join us to lead projects and ensure the best performance in tooling for metal stamping.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee tool and die making assembly, including new tooling, modifications, troubleshooting, sample preparation, and testing.
• Plan, monitor, and coordinate projects with Tool Makers to achieve design layout objectives.
• Collaborate with tooling designers and production control for discussions and coordination on design layouts.
• Design and manufacture new tooling; manage projects from conception to final manufacture.
• Train and supervise a team to meet customer specifications and requirements.
• Design and produce complete sets of punch and die tooling for progressive, compound, and separate processes, ensuring optimal performance.
• Act as the Person in Charge (P.I.C) for tooling assembly and sample testing for submission.

Requirements:

• Candidates must possess at least a Professional Certificate/Diploma/Advanced/Higher in Tool & Die or equivalent.
• Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate/Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Technology (Tool and Die) / Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Software Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD 2000 for design and layout.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years in metal stamping tool and die making.
• Proficient in using various machine tools.
• Extensive experience with drills, milling machines, grinders, and lathes.
