Trading Support Executive

SUMMARY
This role offers hands-on experience in the physical precious metals and foreign exchange markets. You will support daily trading operations, monitor markets, and ensure smooth execution of transactions while collaborating with traders and the business development team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support trading activities for precious metals including gold, silver, and PGMs.

• Evaluate purchasing decisions with a focus on profitability.

• Review trade-related documents such as Certificates of Analysis (COAs) to ensure compliance before sending to customers.
• Coordinate with logistics teams to ensure timely shipment and delivery.

• Work with suppliers to ensure payments are made on time.

• Maintain and update customer records and assist with managing customer relationships.
• Assist in preparing reports on activities, customer acquisition, profitability targets, and trading performance.
• Utilize trading platforms to support hedging activities and manage basic price risk.
• Reconcile trading positions and prepare end-of-day reports for the finance team.
• Ensure accurate execution and pricing of internal and external trades including spot and forward transactions.
• Maintain and organize order books and ensure effective communication with the trading and management teams.

Job Requirements and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics or Accountancy.

• Fluency in English and Mandarin to effectively communicate with our diverse client base and stakeholders.
