Trainee Project/Building Coordinator - Get Hired Fast

An exciting and dynamic coordinator role in both construction and building management for an innovative medium-sized developer with an existing track record and a focus on sustainability and green construction. Multiple paths of career progression with on-the-job training provided.

Location: Kota Kinabalu, Sabah

Roles and Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager in the management of the company’s ongoing projects
• Site visits as and when required, at the discretion of the Project Manager
• Assist in the documentation of projects and building management such as minutes of meetings, plans, letters etc.
• Assist in the management of functions held by the company such as conferences, events, etc.
• Assist in managing and maintaining day-to-day operations of the office building
• Assist in managing the company’s list of properties
• General administrative/clerical duties
• Purchasing duties when required
• Managing the welfare of work personnel

Job Requirements

• Any level of experience – at the discretion of employer to evaluate
• Fluent in English and Malay (spoken and written); fluency in Mandarin and/or Hakka is an added advantage
• Proficient in MS Office Suite – additional proficiency in software such as AutoCAD is an added advantage
• Possess a valid driving license and own transport
• Good communication skills – ability to communicate across all levels is of utmost importance
• Willingness to learn
• Able to take responsibility and remain accountable for task outcomes
• Adaptability and having a cool temperament are recommended traits for this role
