Job Summary

​​To design and deliver the Google – Gamuda AI Digital Academy syllabus to university students which includes front-end, back-end, AI and Cloud content. This is a coding focused academy.​ 

Key Responsibilities

• 
  

  Lead demonstrations of code writing and app building. 

  
  

• 
  

  Interview students to find out if they would be a good fit for their course 

  
  

• 
  

  Structure day-to-day lecture plans. 

  
  

• 
  

  Set office hours so that students can discuss their projects or work with them 

  
  

• 
  

  Help and guide students’ trouble-shoot code and carry out practical assignment. 

  
  

• 
  

  Mark and assess student work and providing useful critical feedback 

  
  

Qualifications

• 
  

  ​​​Degree in ​Computer Science/Engineering or its equivalent​.  

  
  

• 
  

  ​Good to have skills badges or certification on Cloud / AI.​ 

  
  

Skills & Abilities

• 
  

  ​​Fluent in Javascript, Python 

  
  

• 
  

  ​Fluent in Javascript frameworks such as VueJS/ReactJS 

  
  

• 
  

  ​Familiarity with DevOps and cloud. Preferably Google Cloud 

  
  

• 
  

  ​Familiarity with AI concepts  

  
  

• 
  

  ​Friendly and approachable demeanour 

  
  

• 
  

  ​Good teaching skills with university students ​ 

  
  

Expected Minimum Years of Experience

​​Minimum 1-3 years of experience as an instructor/trainer in a relevant field.
