Training & Development Executive - Join a Leading Company

The Training & Development Executive will have overall responsibilities for the company’s internal and external training activities. As the key person of this part of the ABSS business, the Training & Development Executive will ensure that we are offering a valuable and marketable proposition to our customers, partners, key strategic accounts, as well as our internal staff. In order to perform this role in its fullest capacity, the Training & Development Specialist is expected to be well versed in all products that are sold by ABSS, both on-premise and cloud products. We will deliver our training courses through online training, our training facilities at our Malaysia and Singapore offices, as well as off site and in other regions such as on-site training, seminars and roadshows when the need arise.

It is expected that the Training & Development Specialist will have a good knowledge of all the courses offered by ABSS, deliver these courses with a high level of quality, and ultimately serve as the company’s products expert. The Training & Development Specialist will be the knowledge broker who builds expertise in those who need it, by leveraging those who have it, and be able to deliver the knowledge to all variety of audiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Overall responsibility for all training courses delivered to customers, partners, key accounts, and internal ABSS staff.
• Prepare and mark Platinum Partner renewal test.
• Create, maintain, and continuously refresh ABSS training modules that brings value to our customers. 
• Research and identify additional training topics that will enhance our training proposition for both Malaysia and Singapore end users.
• Manage training resources such as partners and third-party trainers where necessary, and ensure that the trainers possess the appropriate skills and knowledge for each course in order to deliver the training with high quality.
• Create, manage and publish a calendar of our training courses and ensure that this is effectively communicated to our customers and internally to ABSS staff where appropriate.
• Ensure that all training courses are supported with appropriate course material and collateral (course manuals, feedback forms, evaluation tests etc.).
• Manage the physical resources required for training courses (e.g. training venues, training manuals, refreshments).

Requirements:

• Proven work experience as a Training Coordinator, Trainer, Training Facilitator or similar role
• Familiarity with traditional and modern training methods, tools and techniques
• Sound decision making and organizational skills
• Proven ability to complete full training cycle (assess needs, plan, develop, coordinate, monitor and evaluate)
• Excellent outgoing personality
• Aptitude for learning software or tools
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining strict attention to details
• Strong communication and written skills yet the ability to effectively drive engaging content
• Crucial time management skills
