Training & Standards - Executive - Generous Compensation

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Training

• Work closely with the training team to identify training needs, plan, design & implement present/new training programs to achieve the desired learning outcomes and organizational requirements.
• Translate requirements into training that will groom employees for the next step of their career path
• Develop or oversee the production of classroom handouts, training materials/Manuals
• Assist the Head of Department to prepare annual training budget and training plan / calendar.
• Collaborate with Business Unit Heads and HR to recommend / develop effective training programs to ensure continuous assessment of staff competency skills and gaps.
• Conduct training programs for employees of the company, primarily in the area of Customer Service, Leadership Skills, Soft Skills, etc., with high level of excellence in facilitation skills and active engagement with the employees.
• Conduct Training Needs Analysis to assess the skills and knowledge within the organization and determine the types of training needed to ensure the growth of the employees and retain the existing talent pool of skilled staffs.
• Continuously seek and support new approaches, practices and processes to improve the efficiency of training services offered.
• Co-ordinate, Administer & Manage the usage of HRDF Fund for training programmes for our employees
• Stay abreast of the new trends and tools for employee training development
• General training administration duties and other ad-hoc assignments.

Standards

• Responsible to conduct monthly checks at all facilities and to monitor the quality of customer service provided and inspect the upkeep of the facilities
• Identify areas of service and facilities improvement & propose recommendations to the management.
• Investigate customer complaints and non-compliance issues.
• To assist in the development, review and implementation of operational policies, procedures and guidelines, and to ensure the staffs comply with it.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Possess at least a Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality/Education or with related experiences.
• 1-4 years experiences in training, development management or hospitality industry. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Excellent written and communication skills in English, Malay and able to converse in Mandarin dialects will be an added advantage.
• Good with high level of computer competence - Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel & Word.
• A self-motivated person, able to multi-task, a good team player with effective inter-personal, communication, analytical, planning, and organizational skills.
• Possess the ability to demonstrate a positive, resourceful, creative, flexibility to make changes, with a high level of responsibility and integrity.
• Must possess own transport and be willing to travel outstation as and when required.
