Translator (Korean Language) - Professional Development Opportunities

We're looking for an excellent translator, these will be people who have 3 - 5 years’ experience who able carries the responsibility of conveying another individual’s thoughts and intentions. He/ she must discern how the comment is meant to be received while maintaining the integrity of the conversation.

Responsibilities:

• Translate a question or request clearly and accurately, conveying phrasing and intention as it relates to the subject.
• Convert dialogue and convey the intent of the original speaker, understanding that many idioms and slang terms do not translate exactly between languages.
• Assist the company with written and oral communication as needed.
• Submit translations to appropriate management for review as needed.
• Acting as Interpreter between a wide range of people with diverse voices, accents, speaking tempos and personalities.
• Interpreting with no additions or omissions.

Requirements:

• Outstanding listening, retention and note-taking skills
• Possess own transport
• Preferably with work experience in F&B industry, civil or mechanical engineering
• Ability to work under stress and meet communicated schedules and deadlines
• Must be a team player and good interpersonal skills
