Trial Specialist

Key accountabilities

1. Execution of a local trial plan.
2. Planning and organization of screening trials in cooperation with Breeding and Sales, including selection of external screening locations and organization of seed samples.
3. Administration, collection and evaluation of trial data in Enza Zaden administration systems and formats.
4. Responsible for following the relevant protocols of the 3rd parties in order to guarantee local quality and phytosanitary compliance of the trials.
5. Timely reporting of results of research and commercial variety trials to various stakeholders within the Commercial and Breeding organization.

Main internal contacts

* Breeding teams, Supply Chain team - Obtain seeds for external trials. Exchange information, align on trial locations, report results of trials.

* Sales team - Exchange information, align on growers, report results of trials

Minimum working and thinking level

Advanced secondary vocational level (MBO+, Associate's degree)

Minimum years of relevant work experience

3 to 5 years

Required certifications, knowledge and skills

* Knowledge of the assigned crop
* Affinity with crop cultivation
* Affinity with growers
* Computer skills
* Proficient in the local language, both written and verbal

*Basic knowledge of the English language, both written and verbal

*Mandarin language is an added value

Working conditions

* Occasionally working under pressure
* Frequent domestic and sometimes international business traveling
